How we make sure you're happy before we engrave

This is the part that stops people worrying. If you'd like to see your crystal before we make it, tick the preview box when you order. It's free, we'll email it within 24 hours, and nothing is engraved until you're happy with it. If you want the engraved text changed, or you'd rather use a different photo, you tell us at that point and we redo it.

If it still isn't right when it arrives, you get a full no-quibble refund — no hoops, no questions.

Choosing the right photo

Any clear phone photo works. So does a photo of a printed photo — plenty of our 40th anniversary crystals start life as a 1980s wedding album picture held up under a lamp and photographed on a phone.

The one thing that matters is how much of the frame the faces fill. A close-up of two faces suits a heart or a cube. A wide shot of the whole wedding party needs a rectangle, or the faces get too small to hold detail. Can I use an old or slightly blurry photo?

Often, yes. We work on the photo before conversion, including removing the background. If it genuinely won't produce a good crystal we'll tell you rather than engrave it anyway — and if you tick the preview box when you order, you'll see it for yourself before any decision is made.

Can I have wording engraved as well?

Yes, and it's included in the price. Names, a date, an anniversary number, a line from the wedding speech. If you tick the preview box when you order, the text appears on your free preview so you can check the spelling before we engrave.

What size crystal should I buy?

Two faces close up: a heart or a cube. A full-length or group photo: a rectangle. Something to carry or wear: a keyring or a necklace. Send the photo and we'll advise if you'd rather not decide alone.

Are the crystals made in the UK?

Yes. We make them in our own studio in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire. Every order is made by us, to the same standard.

What if I don't like it?

Is it safe to buy for a surprise?
