How do I order a 3D crystal?

Choose your shape and size, upload your photo, and complete checkout online. We'll email you a free digital proof within the hour so you can approve exactly how it looks before we engrave. We don't start until you're completely happy.

What photo quality do I need?

Any phone photo works — the clearer the better, but we can work with almost anything. You can even take a photo of a printed photograph. If you're unsure, just send it over and we'll tell you honestly whether it'll work well.

Can you remove backgrounds from photos?

Yes — background removal is included as standard. We can also keep the background if you prefer, for a small charge of £10.

Can I include more than one person or pet?

Yes. For group photos we recommend a larger crystal to maintain clarity and detail. You only need a good image of the subjects — we handle the background removal.

Can I add text, names or dates?

Yes, free of charge. Add a name, date, short message or quote when you upload your photo, or just let us know what you'd like and we'll add it for you.

Can I see a digital preview before you engrave?

Absolutely. Just ask when you order and we'll email you a free proof to approve first. We don't engrave until you're completely happy.

Can you work with old or damaged photos?

In most cases, yes. Our artists are experienced with imperfect images — faded, creased or small prints. Send it over and we'll do our best to bring it to life.

Delivery & Dispatch

How long does delivery take?

Standard delivery is 3–5 working days and free to mainland UK addresses. If you need it sooner, 24-hour dispatch is available on all 3D crystal products — ideal for last-minute gifts.

Can I send the crystal directly to someone else as a gift?

Yes — just enter an alternative delivery address at checkout.

Product & Quality

Is the image printed or engraved?

Your photo is laser-engraved inside the crystal — not printed on the surface. It's a permanent 3D engraving that will never fade or wear.

What is the crystal made from?

High-quality K9 optical glass, chosen for its clarity and durability.

How does the 3D effect work?

A precision sub-surface laser places up to 15 million individual points inside the glass to recreate your photo in three dimensions. The result has real depth — it looks different from every angle.

Will the engraving look exactly like my photo?

The image is converted into a 3D format — it appears as a crisp black-and-white cinematic render inside the glass rather than a colour photograph.

Do I need a light base?

A light base is optional but enhances the depth and visibility of the engraving, especially in lower lighting. It makes a beautiful display.

What shapes and sizes do you offer?

We offer hearts, tall rectangles, wide rectangles, diamond cubes, prestige icebergs, dog bone shapes, memorial candles, keyrings and necklaces. Most shapes come in multiple sizes from small to mantel display. The larger the crystal, the more detail you'll see.

Which size should I choose?

Smaller sizes suit single subjects or close-up portraits. Larger sizes give more detail and are better for groups or more complex compositions.

Which shape is best for my photo?

Rectangle crystals are ideal for portrait-style images. Heart shapes are popular for sentimental or romantic gifts. If you're not sure, send us your photo and we'll advise.

Are your crystals made in the UK?

Yes — every single crystal is laser-engraved in our studio in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire. Nothing is outsourced overseas. We see and quality-check every piece before it leaves.
